IDscan Biometrics (later acquired by GBG PLC) used to provide ID Authentication and Verification solutions for commercial banks, telecom companies. In short they worked with anyone who needed KYC and AML controls implemented.

Their SDK was one of a kind and protected by several patents.

While they were selling bespoke solutions, they wanted to introduce a SaaS application for SMEs that need similar solutions in smaller scale.

After long discovery meetings with product owner (CTO), technical and development leads we settled on a application suite that would provide document capture, investigation, administration and analytics.

After devising appropriate user flows for each function with wireframes, I used Invision to create prototypes and validate the prototypes with product owner, development team.

During UI designs. I created a component library based on Atomic Design principles.

Implementation team was working in Agile, and I also took the role of Scrum Master for the project.

Due to acquisition of IDscan later down the line, the project never saw the day light :)
